Corporate Social Responsibility
Farming Better,
For Everyone
At Maxwell Animal HealthCare, responsibility is not a policy document. It is embedded in how we source, how we manufacture, how we sell, and how we engage with the farming communities that depend on us.
We measure our impact in healthier animals, safer food, stronger farms, and a cleaner environment โ not just in revenue.
Our Commitments
Four Pillars of
Responsible Practice
Sustainable Farming
We formulate natural alternatives to antibiotics and synthetic growth promoters โ reducing chemical residue loads in food-producing animals and the wider food chain.
Farmer Education
Our field teams run free training programmes at farm level โ covering biosecurity, nutrition management, disease identification, and responsible supplement use.
Clean Manufacturing
Our GMP+ certified manufacturing facility facility operates under ISO 14001 environmental management standards, with documented waste reduction, effluent treatment, and energy monitoring at every stage.
Knowledge Access
We publish our trial data, white papers, and technical bulletins freely โ giving vets and nutritionists in developing markets access to the same science available globally.
Community Programmes
Investing in the
Farmers We Serve
Every programme below is funded and run by Maxwell โ not outsourced to agencies or treated as a marketing exercise.

Farmer Education
MaxFarm School
A structured on-farm training programme running across 6 states in India. Sessions cover biosecurity, mortality management, feed conversion optimisation, and responsible supplement use. Over 3,000 farmers trained since 2021.

Community Health
Veterinary Outreach โ Rural Districts
In partnership with state veterinary colleges, Maxwell sponsors quarterly veterinary camps in rural districts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka โ providing free herd health consultations and diagnostic support to smallholder farmers.

Gender Inclusion
Women in Poultry Initiative
A targeted programme supporting women-led backyard and small-scale poultry operations with free product samples, technical training, and access to Maxwell's field advisory network. Launched 2023 across Odisha and Jharkhand.
From the Field

Manufacturing & Environmental Responsibility
Clean Production โ
Measured, Not Claimed
ISO 14001 is not a trophy on the wall. It is a live management system with documented objectives, audited annually.
Solar Energy Integration
Partial solar power coverage across our manufacturing facility, with a target of 60% renewable energy by 2027 under our internal sustainability roadmap.
Effluent Treatment Plant
A fully operational ETP ensures that all liquid waste from the manufacturing process is treated to CPCB standards before discharge โ zero untreated effluent policy.
Packaging Reduction Programme
We are transitioning high-volume SKUs to recyclable HDPE and paper-based secondary packaging. A 30% plastic reduction target is set for 2026.
Botanical Sourcing Ethics
All herbal raw materials are sourced from verified, traceable farms. We audit supplier practices for pesticide use, water management, and fair labour conditions annually.
Carbon Footprint Tracking
We began tracking Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions in 2024. Our first sustainability report is being prepared for publication in Q3 2026.
ISO 14001 Compliance
Environmental management is embedded into our quality system โ with documented objectives, performance indicators, and annual third-party audits.
Our Responsibility to the World
18 Countries.
One Standard of Care.
Whether a product is sold to a large integrated poultry company in the GCC or a smallholder broiler farm in Odisha, it carries the same GMP+ certified manufacturing facility quality, the same documented trial evidence, and the same commitment to natural, responsible animal health.
We believe that responsible farming is not a premium โ it is the baseline. Our work exists to make that baseline accessible and affordable across every market we serve.
Our first comprehensive Sustainability & CSR Report is in preparation and will be published in Q3 2026. Institutional buyers and regulatory partners may request interim documentation.
